Product Details
This is the new generation of WaterWay's leading custom made - hand crafted freediving monofin.
The Glide Fish Tail monofin features an all new hand made fish tail blade design, specifically developed for immersion racing.
The Glide Fish Tail monofin is equipped with the latest generation of WaterWay's revolutionary cast rubber foot pockets that enable optimal grip of the freedivers feet and the best possible energy transfer.
The Glide monofin's blade is covered with a dense neoprene wing, which helps complete the athlete's motion underwater and enables passing a maximal distance with minimal effort.
Thanks to the monofin's wing it is positively buoyant at the surface. Buoyancy turns negative at a depth of 5-10m.
The monofin's blade is made of high end advanced and durable composite fiber to last for years.
As all WaterWay fin blades the blade is hand polished to ensure optimal streamline behavior underwater.

Customer Reviews
My foot is 265mm long / 100mm wide but all my shoes are 275mm (running, ski boots, casual) so I ordered 270mm/100mm CWT footpocket that proved to be the best choice. I use the fin without socks, spread a bit of silicone grease on my toes and it's perfectly ok for 60+ minutes.
I like the fish tail shape for aesthetic reason but it also proved to be stable in the water. The No.2 softness was chosen because of my weight (73kg) and it's again perfect. I could also go for very soft No.1 but I don't have good enough technique yet so I get more output from stiffer blade.
The manufacturing and shipping took 7 weeks. It is very well made, solid, without visible errors. The heavy duty bag has a bit of padding, protects well but I can still stuff it in the locker (when empty of course :)
I'm very satisfied with the monofin and would highly recommend it.
Also, nie wieder ohne Socken.
I used fishtail and it is a really good monopin.
It feels very driven and less lactic acid.
thaks for freediveshop and waterway!
