After using a leaderfin hydrodynamically desiged fin (footpockeds are really heavy) which I prefer for freediving, I bought this one for surface swimming. I am 74 years old and I can tell you, the hardness 2 (soft medium) is easy to and enjoyable to swim. The footpockets are relatively soft and very spacious. I have foot size 44 (broad) and to get the power to the fin (pocket-size 42-44) I have to wear neoprene socks long 3mm to get the power to the blade. Power transfer is not so good as with harder footpockets, but for recreational long distance swimming - thats a fine fin for it!
The fin itself is manufactured really good, lightweight and reached me in good delivery time.
